Mu Zhi didn’t know how long she had been sleeping, but she felt as if she was floating on water.
When she woke up, she found herself soft and pliant as if she had been soaked in water for a long time.
She opened her eyes and looked around her.
Everything looked strangely unfamiliar.
The room was warm and softly decorated with flower petals interspaced with pinks and soft greys, giving it a noble look without compromising on style. It looked like a home for a woman who had a great taste.
Mu Zhi tried to get up, but her entire body hurt.
At that moment, the door opened, and a woman came in. She spoke in fluent English, telling Mu Zhi not to move and to lie down.
The woman looked warm and kind, and Mu Zhi immediately felt an attachment to her.
Mu Zhi looked at her questioningly, “You saved me?”
The woman shook her head and replied her in English, “The young master saved you.”
“Young master?” Mu Zhi did not understand.
“The young master was out on his yacht when he saw you floating in the sea and rescued you.” The woman followed the script given by Xie Xiu.
Xie Xiu had not figured out what he was going to tell Mu Zhi, so he arranged for everything to come to a pause until Mu Zhi was well again.
“Then I’ll have to thank your young master. Where is he?”
Mu Zhi once again got out of bed and was about to walk out but was stopped by the woman, “The young master is not home right now.”
She explained.
Mu Zhi nodded, “Then can you tell me where I am now? Can I use your phone? I need to contact my family.”
