Chapter 2944 Abelyn Is The Mastermind
“Wait a minute. Didn’t you say she can’t die yet? Do we have to wait till tomorrow?” he continued asking.
Abelyn hesitated. She initially instructed them to kill Joan the next day, which was also the hundredth day since Della abducted Joan and her. Now she felt conflicted because she probably had to bring forward the plan. Do I really have to do this?
While Abelyn lowered her gaze and felt silent, Jessica couldn’t help but feel uneasy.

The next moment, Jessica rushed toward Abelyn and pretended to hit her and her phone accidentally.
“My phone!” Abelyn screamed as she stared at her broken phone.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry, Abelyn. I didn’t mean to do it. I’ll buy a new one for you,” Jessica apologized.
She did it on purpose! How dare she use such a dirty trick against me!
“If you have to, you can use my phone to call him back!” Jessica took out her phone and handed it over to Abelyn.
Nonetheless, Jessica knew very well that Abelyn wouldn’t take it because she was guilty!
“Hello? Ms. Chipman! Ms. Chipman!” The man screamed over the phone, his mind was all over the place.
“Let go of me, you bunch of bad guys!” Meanwhile, Joan looked exhausted but kept resisting in the car.
What a troublesome woman! The man turned around and glared at Joan as though he wanted to kill her. If Abelyn didn’t make the specific instruction, I would have killed you already!
This b*tch! We let you live for an extra day, yet you don’t cherish it!
Slap! Joan’s face turned red once the man slapped her. “Joan Watts, stop making noise, or else I’ll kill you right now!”
“Who sent you!” Joan kept yelling. She was unperturbed by the threat, for her death was only a matter of time.
“It’s alright. I can bring it to a shop to repair it.” With that, Abelyn wanted to grab her phone back from Jessica.
“No worries. Since your phone is broken because of me, I’m supposed to repair it for you,” Jessica dodged Abelyn and turned around swiftly.
Jessica did it on purpose! Finally, Abelyn couldn’t hold in her emotions and yelled, “I said, I don’t need it!”
She hated it the most when someone tried to test her.
Meanwhile, Jessica felt that Abelyn’s aggressive reaction cleared her own doubt.
Why would Abelyn lose her temper if she isn’t guilty of something? It looks like she is keeping a lot of secrets from us. I’m afraid that even Dustin doesn’t know what she’s doing behind our back.
“As I said earlier, I have to bear the responsibility for my mistake.”
Slap! As Jessica was speaking, Abelyn grabbed the chance to snatch her phone back all of a sudden and threw it into the dustbin nearby.
I don’t mind throwing the phone away but can never let it fall into Larry’s hands!
Jessica was stunned and dejected upon seeing Abelyn’s reaction. It’s clear now that Larry’s suspicion against her is true! She couldn’t help but retreat a few steps, feeling disappointed.
Why is she the mastermind? Why must she be so cruel toward Joan? Jessica looked at her in confusion and sorrow.
“What’s going on?” Suddenly, Nancy arrived and came up to them.
“Nothing,” Jessica answered right after she recollected herself.
On the other hand, Abelyn was at a loss, for she thought Jessica would tell Nancy everything.
Nonetheless, Jessica was kind-hearted. She wouldn’t reveal anything that Larry told her to anyone before it became crystal clear.
“Why are you here? Do you feel better now?” Jessica asked softly and patted Nancy’s shoulder.
“Yes, I feel better now. Have you found Joan?”
