Chapter 2951 Jealous
“Oh my! Acting lovey-dovey again, I see!” Jessica barged in out of nowhere.
This woman always comes without prior notice. Larry glanced at her with disdain in his eyes.
“Larry, why are you acting like this? Now that you have a wife, you don’t want your little sister anymore. Is that it?” Jessica pouted.
“Of course I want my little sister. Who would want to upset their own sister?” Joan suddenly stood up and pulled Jessica over to her.
Since Joan had amnesia, she couldn’t recall much about the past anymore. However, having spent such a long time with Jessica, she felt like she had a good understanding of Jessica’s character. In her head, Jessica’s only foible was that she could be a bit mischievous sometimes.
“Joan, did you miss me?” Jessica kissed Joan on the cheek.
Meanwhile, Larry, who was watching on the side, had a grumpy look on his face. What’s with girls kissing each other? I don’t get it. Not to mention, Joan is my woman. No one should be allowed to touch her except for me. Not even my own sister.
Larry sighed before uttering, “What are you doing? If you want to kiss someone, go and kiss Caspian. You’re being a nuisance to Joan.” Larry hurriedly pulled Joan over to his side.
Pfft! This man is so irascible! You don’t want me to kiss her? I’ll do it anyway!
Jessica took a big step toward Joan.
“Larry, make sure you pay close attention!” Having finished her sentence, Jessica embraced Joan and kissed her on the cheek again.
Has this woman gone gonzo? Or has she turned bisexual? Larry glared at Jessica with a confused expression on his face.
Knowing that Jessica was merely joking around, Joan smiled and remained taciturn.
Larry was irritated by the sight of them being so close with each other. He then got up and left the room.
“Hello? Caspian, you should make sure Jessica behaves!” Larry sounded furious over the phone.
What? Jessica is outside right now? Startled, Caspian stood up from his couch. This stupid woman! She’s causing trouble again! The worst part is, she ran into Larry!
Ding ding ding! The phone on the table rang incessantly.
“Where are you? Get back here right now!” Caspian’s voice was fierce and loud.
What’s the matter with him? Why is he being so mean to me? Aggrieved, Jessica curled her lips. I didn’t do anything wrong.
“Why should I go back? You don’t even spend time with me.” Jessica murmured.
So? Did you decide to find other men to spend time with you? What is she thinking!
“Jessica, get back here this instant!” Caspian was livid.
Larry must’ve told him something bad about me! After a laconic exchange of words, Joan and Jessica parted ways with each other.
Seeing Jessica walking further and further away, Larry let out a mischievous grin.
But of course, it was just a joke to mess with his sister. Trifling jokes like this were the thing that consolidated their relationship as brother and sister after all.
As the days passed on, Abelyn’s secret was still not exposed. The people who ran away weren’t caught as they were smart enough to flee to other countries.
Although Jake looked apathetic and calm on the surface, he was actually very worried about Joan and was furtively investigating her abduction incident.
Meanwhile, Della had become quite the honest person. To Larry’s surprise, Della didn’t attempt to hurt Joan this time around.
“Larry, what do you think Ms. Duff is up to these days?” Caspian asked Larry in the office.
Right, what is she doing now? Don’t tell me she’s setting up another trap? Larry had a distressed look on his face. Della has been too quiet over the past few days. She must be plotting something…
